Chapel Hill, North Carolina: “The Southern Part of Heaven”
Located at the western-most edge of North Carolina’s world-famous Research Triangle Park, Chapel Hill is one of the states most peaceful and beautiful towns. At its heart is The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Founded in 1795, UNC is the country’s oldest state university. Duke University in Durham and North Carolina State University in Raleigh are each just a short drive from Chapel Hill.
Location
Chapel Hill is just 15-20 minutes via Interstate 40 from Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Currently, a broad range of airlines including American, Delta, Northwest, TWA, United, US Air, and others serve RDU. Taxi or limousine service is also available at the airport, as well as facilities for most major car rental agencies. Our office is located in a professional office village with ample, free ground level parking.
Lodging
There are a variety of lodging options available for Chapel Hill visitors, including several prestige hotels (such as the Siena, the Franklin, and the Carolina Inn), nationwide hotels (such as The Sheraton, Hampton Inn, and Holiday Inn Express) and bed and breakfast accommodations as well (such as the Fearrington House Inn). Most are located just minutes away from our office. There are also extended-stay lodging facilities in town for longer visits. The Chapel Hill area is also home to a variety of championship golf courses. Our office will be happy to make any of these arrangements for you.

Dining
Dining in Chapel Hill is bountiful and varied. You can choose from sophisticated fine dining experiences, or moderately priced restaurants and cares located all along the main streets of the town of Chapel Hill. Many others are just a short distance away. There are distinctly American eateries, Chinese, Mexican, and Italian restaurants and places for great seafood. And, of course, restaurants specializing in Southern cuisine served in heaping portions with a big down home smile.
